About BoopNose
We touch our phones about 2,000 times a day. None of it feels like anything.
That was the whole thought. You pick up a slab of glass hundreds of times before lunch — checking, scrolling, waiting — and not one of those touches gives you anything back. Then a dog walks past, you boop its nose, and something in your chest resets. One second. That's all it takes.
BoopNose started because someone couldn't stop thinking about that gap.
How it started
We're a very small team — small enough that the person answering your email is the same person who argued about nose firmness for three weeks. There is no headquarters. There is no fifty-person design department. There's a group chat, a lot of silicone samples, and a shared conviction that a phone case can do more than protect a phone.
Getting it right took longer than we expected. The first samples were too firm — they felt like a bump, not a boop. The next ones were too soft and stayed dented. What we landed on sits proud of the case in soft moulded silicone: press it and it gives, let go and it springs straight back. Somewhere between a fidget toy and a very good dog.
The rest of the case had to be genuinely good, or the joke wears off fast. So every BoopNose is cut for one exact phone model, with precise openings for camera, buttons, speakers and charging port, and a raised lip that guards the screen and camera when you set it down.
What we believe
Small joy counts. A thing you touch two thousand times a day should be worth touching. That's not a slogan we workshopped — it's the only reason this product exists.
We also believe in saying what's true. We're new. We don't have a customer counter to show off or a wall of five-star reviews we can point at, and we're not going to invent either. What we do have is a straightforward promise: boop it for 30 days, and if it doesn't make you smile, send it back for a full refund.
The part that matters most to us
A share of every BoopNose order goes to dog rescue. Not a vague "proceeds support" line — an actual set portion of every order, sent to shelters caring for dogs waiting on their people. It's the one thing about this business we'd keep even if we kept nothing else.
You're buying a phone case with a squishy puppy nose on it. It's a silly object. But the dogs it helps are real ones.
